How has becoming a mom helped you as an entrepreneur?
MK: I think there are a couple of things. I certainly feel more creative as a mother. I see the world differently, and I want to make changes to the world Finlay grows up in. It’s no longer enough to leave change to other people, I need to make that happen. It has also taught me how to juggle! As an entrepreneur (and mom), I have to do a variety of different things all at once and that’s ok! In fact, that’s absolutely crucial to my business. One minute I’m working on the product, the next, brand.
