"My spouse and I had a lot more difficulty having sex postpartum than I expected. I had some scar tissue from tearing, and because I was breastfeeding, the skin was really tight and dry. Sex was painful. I ended up going to see my OB who prescribed me estrogen cream. It took about a year for things to go back to normal. Now that I'm pregnant with #2, this is on my mental list of things to talk about at my postpartum follow-up, so we don't have to go through such a long process again." - Megan R.
