Why Labor And Delivery Nurses Are Rock Stars In Our Book
You may have an amazing OBGYN or midwife to deliver your baby, but let's be honest, it's the nurses who are there by our sides, encouraging us, caring for us, and present with us after our babies come into the world. In our opinion, that pretty much makes them rock stars.
Big or small, labor and delivery (L&D) nurses are the ones staying after their shifts, sneaking us food after the kitchen closes, and saying things that make us feel like we are capable of anything — from pushing a baby out of our bodies to enduring the time when some of our babies are in the NICU.
There are so many things these nurses do for us that we decided to celebrate them here.
